Who Are We? The Limestone Fire Department is a 100 percent volunteer fire department with five stations, 31 firefighters, 6 officers, and 5 publicly elected trustees. We run all ambulance calls with the local ambulance service provider, all motor vehicle accidents, and all other fire related emergencies. In 2007 we ran 1129 calls. We are one of the most active volunteer fire departments in Central Illinois and we love what we do. This web site is designed to give you a small look at what we are about and what makes us what we are today.
