
	OPEN FIREFIGHTER POSITIONS Want to make a difference in the lives of others? The Limestone Township Fire Protection District is accepting applications for the position of firefighter. This is a volunteer position. This position requires heavy to extensive physical work. Requirements of a Limestone Firefighter: - 2 hours district training per month (Offered on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings) - 24 hours additional training per year (Offered throughout the year) - Minimum response to 10% of the emergency calls we receive per month (Average 1050 per year) Limestone is a 100% volunteer fire department that provides Fire & Rescue services to the residents living in Limestone Township and Southern Kickapoo Township. Applicants must live within the or within 2.5 miles of the fire district.
